This program is a volunteer-led puppet troupe, created for children and dedicated to keeping them safe. Our dynamic volunteers educate students about personal safety, boundaries, private touches, and the difference between secrets and surprises. The program provides children with critical information to help them stay safe from abuse.
Monique Burr Foundation Child Safety Matters®
45 Minutes
A comprehensive, evidence-based curriculum for elementary school students in grades 3-5. The program educates and empowers children and all relevant adults with information and strategies to prevent, recognize, and respond appropriately to bullying, cyberbullying, all types of abuse, and digital abuse dangers.
For Teens
Online Conduct
60 Minutes
This course will educate teens on how to act as thoughtful media creators and consumers in order to build supportive online communities. Discussion will include protecting personal information, balancing social media use in everyday life, and developing positive relationships with peers online and in person.

For Caregivers
Protective Parents Program
60 Minutes
This workshop seeks to empower parents and caregivers in keeping their children better protected from abuse. The training will discuss the conversations you should be having with your children, the questions you should consider to make their environment safer, and common offender behaviors.
Parenting the Digital Generation
60 Minutes
This course informs parents and caregivers on how to protect children as they navigate the digital world. The program covers the four biggest risks for children online and the conversations you need to be having with them. Recommendations will be given on how you can utilize technology to better protect your children.
For Child-Serving Professionals
Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse
60 Minutes
This workshop teaches adults how to recognize the signs and symptoms of physical abuse, sexual abuse, emotional abuse, and neglect. Participants will learn facts about child abuse, and important details of how to report suspected abuse. We will discuss risk factors, effects of abuse, how to handle disclosures, and mandated reporting laws.
