Backup Receptionist
The Backup Receptionist reports directly to the Manager of Administrative Services and provides coverage for the regular receptionist(s) during scheduled and occasional emergency absences. The Backup Receptionist will professionally greet and direct callers, visitors, guests and vendors and perform general clerical tasks to support daily operations.
Qualifications:
- Prior customer/client service experience
- Bilingual preferred

- General office skills (typing, filing, answering phones, etc.)
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize actions or tasks
- Ability to function collaboratively within a team environment
- Computer proficiency – Microsoft Office Suite and other office productivity tools
Job Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls and relay to appropriate staff or department.
- Greet/welcome visitors, guests and vendors and direct appropriately.
- Issue access badges and obtain vehicle keys when appropriate.
- Monitor security cameras and enforce access control and safety procedures.
- Meter all outgoing mail for CAC staff only.
- Log package deliveries and notify recipient (acquire signature when package is retrieved).
- Receive in-kind gifts and donations accepted at the front desk and promptly notify appropriate staff.
- Track number of access badges daily.
- Secure reception office at the end of evening shift.
- Attend administrative services staff meetings.
- Maintain reception area and all common areas in a clean and tidy manner.
- Maintain professional demeanor; demonstrate integrity and adhere to confidentiality policies.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

Child Engagement Advocate
Overview:
The Child Engagement Advocate reports directly to the Director of Child and Community Engagement and provides child engagement services to children at the CAC. Additionally, this position is responsible for assisting the Director of Child and Community Engagement in coordinating the client special projects (i.e. Holiday Project and Back to School Fair).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in child development or related field
- Bilingual Spanish/English preferred
- Experience working with children
- Knowledge of child development
- Knowledge of child abuse dynamics
- Computer literate in business applications
- Personal experience working as, or with, a volunteer

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide child engagement as needed, at CACCC Plano and North locations
- Maintain relationships with child engagement interns
- Maintain cleanliness of child engagement areas in both locations
- Plan structured activities for evening child engagement shifts weekly
- Conduct trauma and suicide screenings for clients
- Rotate on call for family advocacy and child engagement
- Assist with tasks related to client special projects
- Operate in an ethically responsible manner
- Perform all other duties as assigned

Donor Relations Manager
Overview:
The Donor Relations Manager reports to the Chief Advancement Officer and is responsible for developing and implementing strategies for securing financial support from corporate and individual donors and maintaining these relationships over time.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3-5 years successful experience in fundraising or other relevant corporate/individual engagement work (preferably human service related)

- Ability to develop collaborative, professional individual/corporate/business relationships
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Flexible schedule to support events as needed
- Identify, secure, cultivate and manage a portfolio of individual and corporate/business donors
- Manage a portfolio of mid-level individual donors to increase engagement and financial support
- Coordinate arrangements for on-site visits and tours for prospect and current donors
- Work with Chief Advancement Officer and Donor Relations Team to coordinate the full range of activities required to expand and strengthen corporate and individual donor engagement strategies
- Lead Annual Campaign and North Texas Giving Day efforts in collaboration with Marketing and Donor Relations team to develop and execute strategies that achieve fundraising goals
- Assist with program focused project planning and in-kind/monetary solicitations (Holiday Project and Back to School Fair)
- Support Gala planning, including securing sponsorships and auction items, and lead Lexus Car Raffle sales efforts to support the event
- Manage the Champions for Children monthly giving program and collaborate with the marketing team to grow the monthly donor base
- Responsible for maintaining accurate account records and actions in Raiser’s Edge
- All other duties as assigned by supervisor

Family Advocacy Internships
Please note, this is an unpaid internship.
Internship Requirements:
Weekly Availability: 16 hours in the spring/fall and 20 hours in the summer.
- Participate in a mandatory three-day orientation prior to beginning the internship
- Pass a criminal background check
- Pass an applicant interview process
- Participate in weekly supervision activities
- Scheduled on-call emergency child engagement

Clinical Internships
We accept graduate-level practicum students as well as LPC Associates for our clinical internship program. Students and LPC Associates have the unique opportunity to not only offer therapeutic services to the children and families who come to CACCC, but also work directly with the law enforcement, the district attorney, and CPS agencies that collaborate with the center.
