WHO WE ARE
Our mission is to provide safety, healing, and justice for children victimized by abuse or neglect in our community.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Statement:
This statement outlines our commitment to building a diverse and inclusive organization that is reflective of our growing Collin County community; by striving toward these goals, we aim to serve the unique needs of all children and families who walk through our doors.
We Value
We value the visible and invisible qualities and unique perspectives and experiences that each person contributes to our organization.
We Believe
We believe every child and their non-offending family members victimized by child abuse deserve access to the services we offer– regardless of their socio-economic status, the color of their skin, sexual orientation, or other factors that contribute to inequity.
We Commit
We commit to providing a space that is welcoming, safe, respectful, equitable, and inclusive for all clients, staff, and partners.
We envision a community free from child abuse.
Each year, more than 5,000 reports of abuse or neglect are made here in Collin County. For more than 25 years, we have provided critical services for children victimized by abuse or neglect in our community, free of charge. We are the only agency in Collin County offering all these services under one roof and we do so because our community’s children deserve the best childhood possible.
Providing safety, healing, and justice at the Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County is a team effort. We use the multi-disciplinary team approach; under one roof, we house law enforcement, Child Protective Services, therapists, family advocates, interns, and volunteers. Additionally, we work hand-in-hand with the District Attorney’s office to ensure that justice is served.
