March 9, 2021 – Plano, TX – Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County (CACCC), will host their virtual Gala Saturday, April 10, 2021, to raise critical funding to provide essential services for children impacted by abuse in Collin County.
This year’s virtual Gala, sponsored by Credit Union of Texas, will feature a special performance by Grammy and Emmy winning musician, composer, actor, and a legendary live performer, Harry Connick, Jr. “This year we were striving to provide a very special experience for our supporters and are over the moon to have Harry join us this year!” said Dana Packard, Special Events Manager for the Center.
“Gala is traditionally our largest annual fundraiser and is considered one of the premier events in Collin County. As much as we wish we could host or traditional in-person event, we know that is not possible.
The funds raised at our Gala directly impacts our ability to continue to provide life-changing services to children and families who need us. We are excited for this opportunity to come together virtually to make this year’s event a successful one.” said Lynne McLean, Chief Executive Officer for the Center.
Gala 2021 will feature headline entertainment, the ever-popular Lexus Car Raffle, a virtual auction with experiences and trips, and other exciting surprises. There is no charge to view this year’s virtual Gala. However, the Center encourages all participants to make a meaningful donation prior to, or the evening of the event.
