HEALING HEARTS INVITATIONAL

HEALING HEARTS INVITATIONAL – CANCELLED

The Healing Hearts Invitational is an event that we love hosting each year and it generates much-needed funds for the children we serve. This year has been challenging as we all continue to navigate through uncharted waters during this global pandemic. Therefore, we have decided to cancel the golf tournament this year.

Over the past few months, reports of child abuse decreased but we know that’s not because it has stopped. It is because children no longer have access to safe adults to disclose to. Due to social isolation, many children are now required to shelter in place with their abuser. We know the need for our services will increase dramatically in the next few months. While we will not be hosting Healing Hearts, we strongly encourage you to explore some of the ways below you can stay connected to our mission throughout 2020. The services we offer are critical to children and families victimized by abuse in our community.

Back to School Fair

While the school year ahead may be clouded with uncertainty, we do know one thing for sure. No matter what type of classroom setting children will be presented with come fall, they are very much in need of supplies and resources to set them up for a successful year of learning, and this year, the need is greater than ever before.

Teddy Bear Ride

The event will look different this year, but we ride on! Teddy Bear Ride is a one of a kind fundraiser and awareness event. Together, motorcycle riders make their way across Collin County to deliver their all-important passengers, new teddy bears. These precious bears will make their way into the arms of children served by the Center. This year’s ride is scheduled for Sunday, October 25th.
