KOHL’S TO DONATE $100,000 TO CHILDREN’S ADVOCACY CENTER OF COLLIN COUNTY THROUGH A COMMUNITY WITH HEART PROGRAM

December 8, 2021 Plano, TX – Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County (CACCC) has been selected to receive a $100,000 grant from Kohl’s through their A Community with a Heart Program. These funds will be used to provide essential services such as forensic interviews, family advocacy and support services, and counseling to children and families victimized by child abuse and neglect in Collin County.

“These impactful funds come at a time when we are working to bring safety, healing, and justice to a record number of children in our community. We are truly humbled by the thoughtfulness and generosity of Kohl’s – ‘thank you’ hardly seems sufficient but we are indeed thankful,” said Courtney Echols, CACCC Vice President of Development.

In the spirit of giving with all its heart this holiday season, Kohl’s, through its A Community with Heart Program, will donate $8 million in grants to selected nonprofit organizations across the country, demonstrating the company’s ongoing commitment to family health and wellness. Kohl’s store teams and leaders across the country identified and nominated nonprofit recipients from 49 states that are near and dear to their hearts. The full list of selected grant recipients is available on Corporate.Kohls.com.

The donations are made possible through Kohl’s philanthropic merchandise program, Kohl’s Cares®, which sells children’s books and toys and donates 100 percent of the net profit to charitable organizations across the country that improve the health and wellness of families.
