March 6, 2019 – Plano, TX – Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County (CACCC) is excited to announce Credit Union of Texas (CUTX) as the presenting sponsor of Gala 2019. CUTX presented a check of $75,000 to CACCC on Thursday, February 28, 2019.
Credit Union of Texas was founded in 1931 by a small group of Dallas teachers. Today, CUTX serves over 142,000 members in all 50 states. They have a strong commitment to actively sponsoring events and causes that enhance the quality of life for our community. This sponsorship is a testament to CUTX’s commitment to support the local community, as this gift will help CACCC further their mission in providing safety, healing, and justice for children victimized by abuse or neglect in our community.
“We don’t just want to improve the financial lives of our members, we want to make a difference in their communities as well,” said Eric Pointer, President and CEO of CUTX. “We are proud to give back to organizations like CACCC who help make our communities stronger and who work so selflessly to improve the quality of life in the areas we serve.”
“This donation and longer-term partnership with Credit Union of Texas will make a critical and meaningful difference in the lives of abused and neglected children in Collin County. We are so grateful for this demonstration of belief in the mission of Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County”, said Lori Geer, VP of Development for CACCC.
CACCC will host its annual gala, at The Star in Frisco, Saturday, April 6, 2019, to raise critical funding to provide essential services for children impacted by abuse.
