Volunteer Opportunities
Speaker’s Bureau
Purpose:
To further the Collin County community’s knowledge about the CAC and its mission, and to provide the community with meaningful educational information pertaining to the dynamics of child abuse and neglect and legal responsibilities to report
Requirements Include:

30 volunteer hours at the Center
-
Attend at least two CAC training events (MDT training, Darkness to Light training, Kids in Court) or any other CAC-offered training open to volunteers

Requires a one-year commitment

Activity Center Coverage
To provide child care for client children and siblings waiting for supervised visits, forensic interviews, home placement, therapy, etc.
General Center Volunteer
To assist, as needed, any CAC department with on-going, as well as one-time projects such as painting, data entry, mass mailings, etc.
On-Call Child Care Volunteer
To be available 24/7 on an on-call basis to assist with emergency child care.
Special Events Volunteer
To assist with event coordination, scheduling and notification.
