Back to School Fair

Made possible by FOSSIL

Each year, the Children's Advocacy Center partners with local corporations and volunteers to host the annual Back-to-School Fair. The fair is a fun-filled day complete with games, music, face-painting, haircuts and refreshments in a family-friendly atmosphere. The Back-to-School Fair equips children who are current clients of the Children's Advocacy Center or Child Protective Services for the new school year by providing them with backpacks and supplies.

We believe abused children should have the same advantages as their peers to achieve academic success. For many of these children, the backpacks, notebooks and tools they receive at the Back-to-School Fair are the first new school supplies they have ever had. Every child gets to pick out a backpack and also is outfitted with a brand new pair of shoes. It's a day when our children are doted upon, perhaps for the first time ever.

Community supporters are essential to the success of the Back-to-School Fair.
