Clinical Internships

Interns will have opportunities in supervising various aspects of community based mental health treatment. The Clinical Training Program offers graduate students an opportunity to experience multiple therapeutic modalities including play, individual, art, music, family and group therapies.

Types of Clinical Internships available:

  1. Master’s Level Practicum Students

    Master’s level practicum students completing a Master’s degree in a mental health counseling field. They contract 9 months of service as part of graduation requirements.

  2. Licensed Professional Counselor Intern

    Licensed Professional Counselor Intern holding a Master’s degree in a mental health field and a temporary license. They contract 12 months of service as part of requirements for obtaining the Licensed Professional Counselor credential.

CACCC Clinical Services:

  • Last year, 920 clients received 10,774 therapy services
  • This includes, 27 interns who provided over 6,500 hours of counseling to our clients
